On this composition
A folk tale, retold for your wall.
A quiet, mirrored meeting. Two antlered deer with dotted coats and patterned indigo and red saddle cloths step toward each other, each lifting a front hoof, with a small blue lotus pond between them full of pink, cream and red blooms and broad green leaves.
Flowering trees arch up and over the pair, a red bird perched high on each side, and red, indigo and cream flowers drift across the warm mustard ground. Drawn in the fine outlined manner of a Kalamkari cloth, inside a deep red border of small cream flowers.
A calm, graceful landscape piece for above a sofa, a bed, a console or a cafe wall.
