The tales
Stories told panel by panel
What is Tales on Canvas?
Canvas prints of India's great tales: the Ramayana, the Mahabharata, the wedding of Mahadev and Mata Parvati, the Hanuman Chalisa and more. Each tale is told panel by panel, in the folk traditions that have always painted stories in scenes, such as Phad, Kalamkari and Madhubani.
Is this a print or a painting?
A print. Each piece is printed on canvas with HP Latex inks on 380 GSM canvas - not painted by hand.
Will I know what each panel shows?
Yes. Every product page explains the story and the scenes in its panels, so the tale on your wall is one you can tell.
Can I ask for a tale you don't have yet?
Please do. Message us on WhatsApp or write to hello@talesoncanvas.com. We read every request; we can't promise to make every tale, but requests shape what we create next.
