The machine that stitched school uniforms, festive blouses and every torn pocket in the house. Here the old hand-crank sewing machine takes centre stage, its curved arm covered in cream flowers and vines on deep indigo, a spool of thread on top and a red flywheel ready to turn.
It sits on a wood-grain base above a stepped cream plinth, framed by tasselled indigo drapes hanging from a scalloped arch. Two patterned pots with a bird perched on each and a pair of fish line up along the bottom, all drawn in the fine outlined manner of a Kalamkari cloth in deep red, indigo, ochre and cream inside a red border of small flowers.
A warm, nostalgic piece for a sewing corner, a studio, a boutique, a cafe or anyone who grew up to the hum of a tailoring machine.

A print. Each piece is printed to order with HP Latex inks on 380 GSM canvas - not painted by hand.
Will it look exactly like the photographs?
Very close. Colours can vary slightly between screens, and room photographs are illustrations of scale.
When will it arrive?
It is dispatched 2 to 3 business days after you order, then takes 2 to 4 business days across India. See our shipping policy.
Which finish should I choose?
Stretched canvas arrives ready to hang. Framed adds a floating frame around the canvas.
Do you deliver outside India?
Not at this time. We deliver within India only, and delivery is free.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge at any time before it is dispatched. See our cancellation and refund policy.
What if it arrives damaged?
If your print is damaged in transit, tell us within 7 days of delivery, with photos of the print and its packaging, and we replace it.
Is GST included?
