A folk tale, retold for your wall.
Budhiya ke baal, coming down the lane. A man in a blue kurta and jeans pushes a wooden cart with a hand-lettered sign, a tall bamboo pole on top crowded with pink and cream candy floss. A woman in a block-print sari and a friend in a cap and cargos have already stopped for one; a young couple in a hoodie and printed co-ords walk up behind.
It is a village street you might still find - tiled roofs, a hand pump, parked bicycles, a leafy tree and potted plants - drawn in a fine Kalamkari line in rose, mustard, indigo and terracotta on warm cream. Rows of birds and flowers run along the top and bottom, inside a cream vine border and a flat dark-brown edge.
Old-school sweet, new-school crowd - a portrait piece for a cafe, a kitchen, a dorm or a living room wall.
This is a canvas print: HP Latex inks on 380 GSM canvas, made to order. Pick it as a wrapped canvas, or in a floater frame in matt black, natural, antique gold or walnut. It arrives ready to hang.
Free delivery across India, dispatched in 2-3 business days.
